Pembina Hills School Division invites applications for the Regular Part Time Educational Assistant position at École Westlock Elementary School. The role begins October 1, 2026 and ends June 25, 2027.

The successful candidate will support students with complex needs in a French Immersion classroom, working Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some Fridays for 6.5 hours per day according to the school calendar. Candidates should have good interpersonal skills, be a team player, and may have SIVA or First Aid

• Experience working with complex needs and behaviorally challenged students is preferred.
• Understanding of childhood development is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults.
• Able to work as a member of the school team.
• Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed.
• SIVA Training would be an asset.
• First aid would be an asset.

The Position

The successful candidate must be self-directed team player who is interested in working with students with complex needs in a French Immersion classroom. Hours of work will be Tuesday, Thursday and some Fridays at 6.5 hours per day, following the school calendar.
