About The Role:

Vancouver South Animal Hospital is lookingfor another full time RVT to join our growingteam. We have been in the South Vancouver Community for many years, well-established as a high-quality and fear-free practice. We are a hospital with 2 hard-working DVMs and a passionate support team. We are currently in the building stages of a brand new location 2 blocks up from our existinglocation. If you would like to be part of our skilled and unique team and be involved in the exciting process of our new location, please apply! Our ideal Registered Veterinary Tech (RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.

We are a hospital open 7 days a week, and we are in need of consistent Sunday coverage to supplement our existing Sunday team. We are passionate about high quality medicine and fear free techniques for our patients.1 Year of experience is considered an asset. Expected Wage Range: $25.00 - $32.00/hr

Qualifications:
  • Registered Veterinary Technician or Technologist
  • Successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program
  • Passed the VTNE or are eligible to write the VTNE
  • Be in good standing with the Provincial Regulatory Association
