Job description

Find Your Perfect RVT Fit with Us at St. Catherines Animal Hospital!

We’re growing our team at St. Catharines Animal Hospital and would love to welcome a Registered Veterinary Technician to join us! Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Niagara Peninsula, we treat every pet as if they were our own and strive to create a warm, compassionate experience for our clients and their furry family members.

Our clinic is a close-knit and supportive group, offering a variety of advanced services in a caring and collaborative environment. Our veterinary team provides advanced surgical, dental, and diagnostic care delivered with expertise and compassion to our loyal clients. As part of our team, you’ll feel valued and supported while making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families.

We believe in taking care of our team as much as we care for our patients. That’s why we’re proud to offer:

  • Competitive wages ($24- $26/hour based on your experience)
  • RRSP matching plans to help you plan for your future.
  • A Wellness Spending Account to support your health and well‑being.
  • Generous continuing education (CE) opportunities to help you grow in your career.
  • Paid annual professional dues to ensure you can stay focused on what you love.
  • Paid vacation time, industry‑leading health and dental benefits, and more.
What You’ll Do

Your day will be filled with meaningful work—caring for pets and supporting clients with compassion and professionalism. You’ll perform diagnostic imaging, provide top‑notch nursing care, and assist veterinarians with surgical and therapeutic procedures, including monitoring anesthesia. In our fast‑paced clinic, you’ll juggle multiple priorities while operating and maintaining medical equipment and lending a hand to your teammates whenever needed.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a Registered Veterinary Technician in good standing with the OAVT. You’re passionate about providing the best care possible, committed to ethical practices, and excited to be part of a collaborative and welcoming team.

Whether you’re an experienced RVT or just starting your career, we’d love to chat! Apply today and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to mary.pecarski@nva.com.

At NVA Canada diversity and inclusion are an important part of our everyday reality.
