Job summary

Mississauga Animal Hospital in Peel Region, Mississauga, is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join a family-like hospital with 35+ years of service. You will monitor anesthesia, assist surgeries, and provide nursing care for hospitalized pets.

We welcome 1+ years of experience, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to compassionate patient care. Typical shifts include 8 or 10 hours with Saturday availability and no on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Ontario-registered RVT with active license
• 1+ years clinical experience preferred
• Comfortable with anesthesia, surgery and patient care

Responsibilities

• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures
• Providing nursing care and supporting hospitalized patients
• Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory procedures
• Assisting with dentistry, diagnostics, and urgent care cases
