Huntsville Animal Hospital in Muskoka is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join a passionate team. This AAHA-accredited clinic offers a supportive environment with opportunities to work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs.

The position is part-time with a clear path to full-time, flexible scheduling, and a focus on delivering high-quality patient care, diagnostics, dentistry, and anesthesia support while maintaining work-life balance in stunning Muskoka.

• OAVT licensure in good standing.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Communicate compassionately with clients and colleagues.
• Execute quality diagnostic imaging.
• Provide nursing care while following provincial regulations and Fear Free techniques.
• Administer and analyze diagnostic tests as directed by the Veterinarian.
• Assist Veterinarian with surgical and therapeutic procedures, including administering and monitoring anesthesia and analgesia.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment.
• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain and support a collaborative work environment and assist other team members as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and support a collaborative work environment and assist other team members as needed.
• Working with Client Services Representatives answering phones, greeting clients, and taking payments as needed.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

• Licensure in good standing with the OAVT.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
