Halifax Veterinary Hospital, part of the VetStrategy network, seeks a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join a supportive, patient‑centered team in Halifax. You will provide top‑tier patient care, educate clients, and participate in wellness, preventive medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician designation or NS registration eligibility.
• Strong communication and client education abilities.
• Attention to detail in clinical procedures.
• Collaborative, positive attitude and team‑focused mindset.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring, patient nursing and laboratory procedures.
• Desire to continue learning within a supportive practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality patient and client care as part of wellness and preventive medicine focused caseload.
• Support dentistry and soft tissue procedures as part of routine veterinary care.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a balanced, manageable workload for multi‑generational client families.
• Engage in community outreach and professional development within the Halifax Veterinary Hospital network.
