Overview

Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT
Location: Ottawa, Ontario
Department: Hospitalized Patients - Treatment/ICU

Schedule: Full-time. Shifts are designed to provide flexibility and variety, with durations ranging from 10 to 12 hours. The schedule includes a mix of daytime, evening, and overnight shifts, rotating regularly to ensure a balanced workload that accommodates the team's needs.

Alta Vista Specialty & Emergency is excited to welcome a dedicated Veterinary Technician (RVT) to our team of skilled veterinary professionals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and support our board-certified specialists, gaining valuable experience and knowledge in a collaborative environment. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training!

Our ICU team members are our superstars of all things patient care related. These caring and dedicated individuals ensure that all hospitalized patients are treated like one of their own during their stay.

• Have completed a Veterinary Technician program.
• Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery.

Working with our Critical Care team, the ICU members care for patients from our ER and specialty departments. Our board-certified specialists provide care in surgery, behaviour, anesthesia, dentistry, critical care, internal medicine, and ophthalmology and have access to on-site MRI, Fluoroscopy and CT diagnostics.
