Descrizione del lavoro

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) – Full-Time Parks Gate Animal Clinic | Hinton, Alberta Small Animal & Expanding Equine Ambulatory Practice

About Us

Parks Gate Animal Clinic is a privately owned, dynamic small animal practice nestled in the scenic community of Hinton. We currently operate Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, giving our team predictable, manageable hours.

We are in an exciting phase of growth! To better serve our community, we are expanding our services to include equine ambulatory care, with plans to construct a dedicated large animal handling facility in the near future. As our team grows—including welcoming a full-time associate veterinarian this fall—we aim to expand into Saturday hours and eventually offer select out-of-hours coverage.

As owners based out of Grande Prairie, Parks Gate is our pride and joy. We are deeply invested in our staff, our clinic equipment, and our workplace culture. We value collaborative input, support individual career goals, and genuinely prioritize work-life balance.

Who We’re Looking For

Whether you’re a seasoned RVT looking for fresh growth opportunities or a brand-new graduate seeking strong mentorship and a supportive learning environment, we’d love to welcome you.

• Equine or Small Animal Focus: If you're eager to help build and shape our new equine department, brilliant! Prefer to stay strictly focused on small animals? That works perfectly, too. We have ample space and demand for both tracks.
• Team-Minded & Adaptable: You care about high-quality patient care, foster positive communication, and like being part of a growing clinic.

What We Offer

We believe taking care of our patients starts with taking care of our team. We offer:

• Competitive Compensation & Full Benefits
• Generous Continuing Education (CE) Allowance
• Uniform Allowance & Employee Pet Discounts
• Housing Accommodations Available (a great option for out-of-town applicants or those relocating!)
• Work-Life Balance: Predictable schedule with no mandatory after-hours emergency shifts currently.
• Invested Leadership: Regular team-building activities, ongoing diagnostic equipment upgrades, and clear paths for career advancement.
