As a member of an inter-professional team working under the full scope of practice, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) at Providence Care is responsible for delivering safe, effective, patient-centred care to assigned patients in a non-acute setting, following hospital policies and the Standards of Nursing Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario. The RPN will assist patients and caregivers in managing clinical conditions and transitions, enhancing quality of life by addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.

Skills and Qualifications Required
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current CPR certificate
  • College certificate required; diploma preferred
  • Medication Certificate dated after 1985 meeting Ontario College of Nurses requirements (for graduates before 1985)
