Job summary

ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development in Brampton is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for a temporary part-time position at the Brampton site. You will support children and young adults with medical or behavioral complexity in our Respite Program, including overnight shifts on weekends.

The role requires a Diploma in Practical Nursing, OCN registration, pediatric experience, and strong communication. CPR/First Aid and CPI are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Practical Nursing is required.
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Pediatric nursing experience.
• Experience working with children with physical and developmental disabilities.
• Experience with children and youth with challenging behaviors.
• Current CPR and First Aid; CPI certificate preferred.
• Excellent nursing assessment and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.

• Friday 11:00PM - Sat 7:00AM
• Saturday 9:00 PM - Sun 7:00 AM
• Brampton Site
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Replacement Position

Compensation Range: $31.64 - $37.03/hour

Position Summary:

ErinoakKids is currently seeking energetic Registered Practical Nurse’s to support children and young adults with medical and/or behavioural complexity within our Respite Program. Successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and work towards supporting clients as they participate in daily living activities.
