Qualifications

  • Active membership in the College of Nurses of Ontario.

  • Completion of a college nursing program.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a nursing history based on patient information.
  • Develop and record a goal-oriented nursing care plan.
  • Perform interventions managing expected outcomes.
  • Accurately follow prescribed medical regimes.
  • Reassess nursing care plans against objectives.
  • Recognize unusual patient responses and consult as required.
  • Revise care plans based on evaluations.

Skills

Active, unrestricted license to practice with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current CPR certificate
College certificate
Medication Certificate dated after 1985

Education
