Job summary

Extendicare in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Hamilton Home. As part of the RPN team, you will provide care to residents in accordance with standards of practice and offer leadership to personal care staff.

Responsibilities include developing, implementing, reviewing and evaluating resident care plans; directing and supervising staff; and assisting in orienting and training new team members.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the provincial College of Nurses (Ontario).
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstrates compassion, professionalism and respect.
