Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health System (SJHS) is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join the Nephrology team at Charlton Campus in Hamilton.

You will apply College of Nurses of Ontario standards, bring a Practical Nursing Diploma with IV medication administration training, and collaborate with RNs and the broader team to deliver patient-centred care. The role requires current BCLS/HCP certification, solid documentation, and the ability to work across a day shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is required.
• Practical Nursing Diploma from an accredited college program with IV medication administration training.
• BCLS/HCP certification is required.
• Minimum of 8 months nursing experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred.
• Experience in nephrology, urology, peritoneal or hemodialysis or transplant nursing will be given preference.
