REASON TO POST: DIRECT REPLACEMENT

WAGE RATE: $37.071 - $38.157

Reporting to the Manager of Medicine, Owen Sound Site, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) works collaboratively in an inter‑disciplinary team to provide care to those patients with a stable and predictable outcome within the defined professional scope of practice as set out by the CNO.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ontario College of Nurses registration
  • Ability to work at full scope of practice
  • Coronary Care 1 Course or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
  • Excellent organizational and patient assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, families and other healthcare professionals
  • Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development; participation in quality improvement initiatives on the unit
  • Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record
