A healthcare facility in Ontario is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide exemplary care across various units including Emergency and Medicine. This role demands strong assessment skills, a commitment to patient care, and a range of qualifications. The ideal candidate will hold RN certification, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and be ready to work flexible hours across shifts.
The Registered Practical Nurse, Float Team provides care and resources to the nursing units within Stevenson Memorial Hospital. This position works in consultation with the RNs and other staff within the interdisciplinary team. This position will work on a variety of units, including but not limited to: Emergency, Medicine, and Obstetrics within the hospital. This position will provide excellent patient care to diverse acute medical patients through practicing in accordance within relevant legislation/standards, and meeting the legal and ethical requirements of the profession.

In order to provide the necessary patient care, our operations run 24/7. There is the expectation that you are available to work weekdays, weekends and all shifts (days, nights, 12 hour shifts).
