Registered Practical Nurse – Permanent Part-Time
POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of an inter-professional Health Care team, the Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for the provision of nursing care to patients with less complex care needs and more predictable outcomes, in collaboration and consultation with the Registered Nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Certifications, Experience, Licensure):
  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BCLS Certification
  • Demonstrate utilization of enhanced nursing competencies with knowledge of and adherence to the College of Nurses Standard of Practice. Candidates will be functioning to MHC RPN full scope of practice.
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Meditech applications
  • Ability to provide regular attendance.

  • Proficiency in obstetrical care (if applicable)
  • Proficiency in administrative duties
