Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, promote health and wellness, and support our clients’ physical and emotional needs in accordance with the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to clients / residents
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accurately
  • Observe, assess, and report changes in client health conditions promptly
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, PSWs, and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reports
  • Promote infection prevention and control practices
  • Support residents’ dignity, independence, and quality of life
  • Supervise and mentor unregulated care providers when necessary
  • Participate in care conferences and contribute to care planning
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and professional standards
Requirements
  • Current Certificate of Competency (licensure) from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Nursing diploma or degree from a recognized college or university
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an RPN (experience in long-term care or community nursing preferred)
  • First Aid / CPR Certification
  • Negative TB test and Covid-19 vaccination certificate
  • Police and Vulnerable Sector Check (recent)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
  • Physical ability to provide safe and timely client care
  • Knowledge of infection prevention, medication administration, and geriatric care
  • Compassionate and team-oriented approach to nursing care
