Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a Temporary Registered Practical Nurse in the Operating Room across Hamilton sites to support peri-operative care for adults and children. The role requires current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and, ideally, OR experience in a tertiary facility.

Perioperative Services at all Hamilton Health Sciences sites provides pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care for both adults and children. The Hamilton General supports community hospital services and specializes in Cardiac, Vascular, Neurosurgery and Adult Burns and Trauma.
The Registered Practical Nurse participates in providing peri-operative nursing care in accordance with the job description and competencies for Registered Practical Nurses in the Operating Room at Hamilton Health Sciences.
Days, evenings, weekends, nights, holidays, for on call shifts it is required to be at the hospital within 30 minutes
