Location: 1385 Regent Street, Sudbury, ON

Pay: CA$33.00–CA$37.00 per hour + premiums

Continuity Care Solutions Inc. (CCS) is proud to partner with Health Sciences North (HSN) to provide nursing services at the HSN Alternative Level of Care (ALC) Extension Site, located within The Amberwood Suites on Regent Street.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with care plans and HSN standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care and discharge plans.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient response, maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to PSWs to ensure excellence in daily care.
  • Uphold patient safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards at all times.
  • Contribute to a supportive and respectful environment that values open communication and compassion.

What You Bring
  • Current registration and certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Practical Nursing program.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • RPN Standardization (all modules) to be completed upon hire as required by Health Sciences North (HSN).
  • Minimum one year of experience practicing the full RPN scope within the past two years (preferred).
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and accurate documentation.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and control, patient safety, and applicable legislation such as the Connecting Care Act, 2019.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including some weekends.
  • English fluency required; French considered an asset.
Additional Requirements
  • Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (dated within 6 months).
  • Updated vaccinations and TB testing as per company policy.
