Walmart Canada is seeking a regulated pharmacy technician to support the pharmacist by managing drug distribution that does not require the pharmacist's clinical knowledge, skills, or judgement.

The role involves receiving prescriptions, maintaining patient records, performing calculations, ensuring accuracy, and assisting with inventory to ensure patient safety. This on-site position is located at 1063 TALBOT ST UNIT 60, ST THOMAS, ON.

Formación

• Registered Pharmacy Technician License is required.
• Age 16 or older as stated in the minimum qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Receive new or repeat prescriptions, create and maintain patient records.
• Assess prescription for clarity, completeness, authenticity and legal requirements.
• Interpret prescriptions and perform pharmaceutical calculations.
• Record prescription information accurately on patient records.
• Alert the pharmacist to actual and potential drug-therapy problems.
• Prepare non-sterile and/or sterile products and label packages to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with the pharmacist on product release and patient counseling as needed.
• Determine inventory needs and audit stock to ensure safety and efficiency.
