CareRx is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in delivering safe and effective drug distribution services across multiple facilities. Role Accountabilities

• Assist the Staff Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions
• Ensure that all prescriptions are complete and authentic
• Gather and ensure completeness of all necessary information
• Confirm data entry accuracy in eMAR and Kroll
• Confirm accuracy of pharmaceutical products and ensure final checks are completed for accuracy prior to their release
• Ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical standards, and contributing to a clean pharmacy environment
• Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring to The Team

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (RPhT), Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP), Ontario College of Pharmacists
• Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems in a long-term care setting is a strong asset
• Retail / Community / Long Term Care Pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated computer or work processing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Location: This is an on-site role at our Barrie Pharmacy location.

Opportunity: This is a current existing position and is a part-time role.
