Work Schedule: Days with an evening and weekend rotation

Responsibilities:

Our RNs provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and community settings across Nova Scotia. Responsibilities include:

  • Diabetes management
  • Dialysis
  • IV medications
  • IV/CVAD care
  • Palliative care
  • Phlebotomy
  • Wound care, including negative pressure wound therapy and complex wounds
  • ...and more!
Qualifications:
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice
  • Experience in community health is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check; Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may be required
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Physical and Working Conditions:

This role requires attention to detail in a dynamic environment, involving physical activities such as lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements emphasizing good body mechanics. The role involves walking, sitting, standing, climbing stairs, and fine hand movements throughout the day.
