Job summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the surgical unit at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC. The role involves assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and evaluating outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will deliver client-centered care, apply nursing science, and respond to changing health care needs. This is a permanent part-time position (0.67) with rotating day and night shifts.

Qualifications

  • RN must be licensed and competent in evaluating patient needs.
  • Ability to develop and implement care plans and evaluate outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
  • Apply nursing science and related knowledge to practice.

About The Job
  • Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
  • Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

  • Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities
This is a Permanent Part Time (0.67) opportunity.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital provides hospital services to residents of the Kootenay Boundary Health Service Area. Services include 24-hour emergency services, intensive care, general surgery, obstetrics, renal, and psychiatry as well as a 30 bed acute medical unit and 23 bed surgical unit. Trail is situated on the Columbia River in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia.
