A progressive mental health clinic in Halifax is seeking a Registered Nurse for casual employment. We are leading a paradigm shift in the Canadian healthcare system by building a network of purpose-built mental health clinics across Canada. By fusing a bio-psycho-social-spiritual treatment model with medically managed therapies, our intensive outpatient programs provide rapid access, rapid resolution, and rapid return to work and healthy lifestyle programs for anxiety, depression, addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, and chronic pain.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Halifax clinical team on a casual basis.
Reporting to the Manager of Clinical Services you will providing comprehensive client-centered care, trauma therapy, and addictions support for individuals struggling with complex mental health conditions. This role is a key part of our dynamic clinical team and reflects our core values of communication, community, excellence, health, and innovation.
A bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
Registration and membership with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) in good standing is required.
BLS and or willingness to obtain is required. ACLS training is an asset.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams is required. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is also required.
