Registered Nurse (RPN) with LTC experience needed for a Full-Time Agency role in Newmarket | Must be open to overnight shifts (10pm6am) | $34$38/hr | Flexible scheduling | Immediate Start

HealthOPM is seeking a Registered Nurse (RPN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) home in Newmarket, Ontario . This is a flexible, full-time agency role ideal for a nurse who thrives in dynamic environments and is open to working a mix of shifts, including overnights (10pm6am) .

The successful candidate will provide high-quality resident care while also being available for last-minute shift coverage and regular RPN shifts . Schedules are provided in advance, though some may be given only 12 days ahead of time, especially around weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to LTC residents in accordance with care plans and professional standards.
  • Administer medications, monitor resident health, and perform assessments.
  • Support wound care, early intervention, and resident safety practices.
  • Collaborate with the care team, residents, and families to ensure quality care.
  • Be available for last-minute shifts and able to adjust to changing schedules.

Requirements

  • Current RPN license (CNO) in good standing.
  • Long-Term Care experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be open to overnight shifts (10pm6am) in addition to day/evening shifts (6am2pm, 2pm10pm).
  • Flexible availability, including last-minute coverage and weekends.
  • Recent (within 6 months) TB Test and Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
  • Strong clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • $34$38/hour (depending on experience).
  • Agency role with full-time hours and consistent shift opportunities.
