Currently we have a Part‑Time Evening RN Line available in our Smith Creek Village community in West Kelowna. As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide team leadership, develop care plans, assess unstable residents, and execute various nursing interventions, including medication administration, treatment, and patient transfers.
Evening Line (2:30 pm - 10:30 pm), FTE of .734. The schedule follows a six-week rotational pattern with variable shifts, including combinations such as three days on/two days off or two days on/three days off.
As a Registered Nurse at our Kelowna communities, you are a key leader in delivering compassionate, person‑centred care. You support residents with complex health needs while fostering strong relationships within the team and broader community. Rooted in our ministry values, your role combines clinical excellence with servant leadership.
Our Community: Smith Creek Village in West Bank is one of our three Communities of Care in the Kelowna area, providing Independent Living with support services, Assisted Living and Long‑Term Care.
You are a dedicated RN, a self‑starter whose strong work ethic thrives with minimal supervision, consistently achieving both individual and team excellence. Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills form the foundation of fostering positive relationships, both with residents and fellow team members. Proficient in problem‑solving, time management, and meticulous organization of workloads, you ensure the highest quality of care for residents. With an in‑depth understanding of aging processes, cognitive function changes, and age‑related diseases, you provide empathetic care that transcends the clinical realm. Your expertise extends to medication administration, standard precautions, and adherence to healthcare protocols, prioritizing safety, and unwavering quality in every action. You possess a unique skill set that includes assessing functional and cognitive status, managing equipment, and adeptly utilizing office technology. You are also well‑versed in pharmacological therapies, the Wellness Model, legal documentation, and the complex intricacies of the healthcare system at various levels. You are competent, compassionate, and have an unwavering commitment to the well‑being of those you serve.
Level 3 RNs are compensated at an hourly rate ranging from $41.42 to $55.91 as outlined in the Provincial BC Nurses Collective Agreement.
