Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication to delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Hospital.

Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator of the Operating Room, the staff nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital mission statement. The role is defined by the needs of the hospital, a select patient/family population, agency expectations, and the goals for professional nursing practice.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Monday to Friday, 07:45 to 15:45

Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with medical imaging, laboratory, ICU, ER, and maternity services including:

  • Acute Care
  • Internal Medicine
  • Ultrasound
  • CT scans
  • Surgery
  • Emergency Department
  • Extended Care
  • Pediatrics
  • Radiology
  • Obstetrics
  • Gynecology

Additional services include Diabetes Education, Healthy Heart and Rehabilitation, Podiatry, Orthopedics, and other visiting specialists.
