Provides nursing care according to established standards and administrative policies. This involves assessing physical and psychosocial needs, planning, implementing and documenting the nursing care for an individual patient or groups of patients. Co-ordinates the care of assigned patients and supervises the work activities of assigned non-professional nursing staff.

is a 24 acute-care bed facility. The Hospital serves the communities of Vanderhoof and the Saik'uz First Nation, as well as acting as a referral centre for the surrounding communities of Burns Lake, Fort St. James and Fraser Lake.
