Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication to delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Dawson Creek & District Hospital.

Under the general direction of the Unit Manager, the ER/ICU RN provides direct nursing care to Emergency and Critical Care patients according to established standards and policies. The ER/ICU RN identifies, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care to meet patients' physical, social, and psychological needs in the Emergency and Critical Care environment. Nursing practice is guided by the vision and values of Northern Health, BCCNM Standards of Nursing Practice, and the Code of Ethics. The Registered Nurse will follow Northeast Health Services Area and Dawson Creek and District Hospital approved policies, procedures, and protocols.

Shift Rotation/Hours of Work: Days, Nights - 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30, rotating

New Wage: As of April 1, 2024, the new wage is: $41.42 - $55.91/hour

Dawson Creek & District Hospital: A 50-bed hospital offering inpatient care, emergency, respiratory, rehab, surgery, obstetrics & gynecology, lab, medical imaging, and cancer care. It is the northeastern BC orthopedic and trauma centre, with visiting specialists in urology, dermatology, and pediatrics.

Dawson Creek: Has a population of 12,178 (2021) and a vibrant community serving surrounding areas. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and experience the northern lights in this community.
