Job summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Creston Valley Hospital in Creston, BC. If Emergency Nursing is your passion, you will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Shifts rotate from days to nights (07:00–19:15 and 19:00–07:15) and you’ll contribute to patient-centred care, professional development, and hospital committees while enjoying IH’s well-being and benefits culture.

Qualifications

• Nursing or clinical experience expected.
• Familiarity with emergency care protocols preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to emergency patients, independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
• Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
• Maintains and advances own clinical competence
• Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned

This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 19:15, 19:00 to 07:15 hours.
