About The Job

The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse:

  • Functions as a member of the Hospitals & Communities Integrated Services (HCIS) or Tertiary Mental Health Services multidisciplinary care team.
  • Provides access to timely, responsive, evidence-based treatment and clinical supports for individuals with severe mental health or substance use issues, including those in crisis.
  • Performs assessment, treatment, case management, community support, and urgent response as needed for clients with serious functional impairments.
  • Acts as a primary clinician using various specialized treatment modalities for individuals, groups, and families.

The team assists clients with severe mental health and/or substance use concerns through team-based care coordination, including substance use counseling, housing assistance, primary care, and outreach.

Position Details

This is a Relief Part-Time (0.60 FTE) opportunity until March 24, 2026, or until the incumbent's return. Shifts are scheduled days and nights, rotating from 08:30 to 16:42 hours.
