Interior Health is seeking an experienced Public Health Registered Nurse to join our Cariboo Community Health Services team in Williams Lake, BC. This Relief Part Time role supports population health initiatives and health promotion in diverse communities.

  • Relief Part Time (0.47) position until September 27, 2027 or return of the incumbent.
  • Shifts: days, Mondays, Tuesdays and alternating Wednesdays from 08:18 to 16:30.

Responsibilities

  • Provides nursing services within the framework of the Population Health/Health Promotion model.
  • Translate knowledge from health and social sciences to support health-enhancing behaviours to diverse individuals, families, and population groups through universal and targeted interventions, programs and advocacy.
  • Offers services in communities, schools, homes and outreach locations to individuals, families and communities.
  • Inherent knowledge, skills and abilities in health promotion, epidemiology, community development, primary health care, social determinants of health and illness, and disease and injury prevention.
