Job summary

A regional health authority in Canada is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care in a variety of clinical settings. You will be responsible for planning and delivering care in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring both patient and staff safety. The ideal candidate must be registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives and have strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Up to two years of recent, related experience depending on clinical setting.
  • Specialty certification required for some positions.
  • Ability in arrhythmia interpretation for Heart Health nurse positions.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and provides direct nursing care to patients/residents.
  • Implements unit/program philosophy and competency guidelines.
  • Ensures compliance with BC College of Nurses and Midwives Standards.
