Position Overview
Experience
  • One (1) year recent acute medicine, cardiology or surgical nursing experience preferred.
  • Nurses currently working on the unit will be deemed qualified.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Current CRNM registration required.
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
  • Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration is required.
  • SUCCESSFUL SCHEDULED and COMPLETION OF the Advanced Assessment Course when the opportunity to take the course is scheduled by the employer, or as otherwise mutually agreed to between the nurse and employer.
