Job summary

A regional health authority in Winnipeg is seeking a Registered Nurse (N2) for the Cardiac Surgery Inpatient Unit. The role requires a graduate from a Registered Nursing program and one year of relevant nursing experience. Candidates must hold current CRNM registration and be open to ongoing training. Position Overview
Experience
  • One (1) year CSIU and/or surgical nursing and/or cardiology nursing experience required.
  • Nurses currently working on the unit will be deemed qualified.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Current CRNM registration required.
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
  • Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration is required.
  • SUCCESSFUL SCHEDULED and COMPLETION OF the Advanced Assessment Course when the opportunity to take the course is scheduled by the employer, or as otherwise mutually agreed to between the nurse and employer.
