This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
Located in Vernon, between Kelowna and Kamloops, VJH offers services including core physician specialties, 24‑hour emergency and trauma services, acute and obstetrical care. Level 7 Acute Medical, Rehab and Palliative Care unit has 28 beds with a focus on acute medicine, rehabilitation, and palliative care. Our cohesive team of RNs and LPNs work collaboratively with a wider inter‑professional network of Physicians, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Rehab Assistants and Palliative Care Network to deliver safe and compassionate nursing care and support to patients and their caregivers during their hospital stay and transition to home. We offer the opportunity to develop experience, knowledge and skills in various aspects of medical recovery, rehabilitation and end‑of‑life care.
