Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston, ON, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medicine/Med/Surg unit. You will provide patient- and family-centered nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safety, quality, and compassionate care in accordance with policies, CNO standards, and legislation.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Current BCLS certificate.
• ACLS or commitment to complete within 3 months of hire.
• CC1 and/or commitment to complete within 6 months of hire.
• CC2 preferred.
• Gentle Persuasive Approach certification preferred.

Qualifications And Experience

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses (CNO) as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS.
• Current ACLS or commitment to complete within three (3) months of hire.
• CC1 and/or commitment to complete within six (6) months of hire.
• CC2 Preferred
• Management of Aggressive Behaviour or equivalent preferred.
• Certificate in Gentle Persuasive Approach preferred.

• IV therapy initiation and maintenance (parenteral therapy).
• Demonstrates excellent assessment, communication, organization, problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills.

Hours of Work

In order to provide the necessary patient care, our operations run 24/7. There is the expectation that you are available to work weekdays, weekends and all shifts (days, nights, 12 hours). This is a new position. Resumes will be accepted until positions are filled.
