Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the cath labs.
  • Administer sedation medication under the direction of the physician.
  • Schedule and obtain pre-certifications for all cath lab patients.
  • Act as a liaison to patients with any questions they may have.
  • Recover patients and assist in the cath lab procedure room as necessary.

Position Summary:

As a Registered Nurse, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient workflow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – particularly during IR procedures. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

  • Location: Trenton, NJ
  • Schedule: Part-time every Tuesday
  • Compensation: $42-$47hr based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the cath labs
  • Oversee ordering and inventory of cath lab supplies
  • Administer sedition medication under the direction of physician.
  • Schedule and obtain pre certifications for all cath lab patients
  • Act as a liaison to patients with any questions they may have
  • Perform pre and post operative phone calls
  • Work closely with the Operations team
  • Recover patients and assist in the cath lab procedure room as necessary
  • Additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree/diploma/associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, required.
  • Currently licensed or eligible for RN licensure in the State, required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified, required.
  • Ability to start peripheral IV’s and perform phlebotomy, required
  • Previous experience in the application of leads for Telemetry Monitors and ECG’s; required
  • Previous experience with Pulse Oximetry monitoring; required
  • Must be familiar with peripheral arterial catheterization lab procedures, as well as post-procedure recovery work, required
