Job summary

A community health provider in Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands is seeking a Registered Nurse for a permanent, part-time role. Responsibilities include providing nursing care in a variety of settings and supervising nursing staff as required. Applicants must have a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience. This role also requires proficiency in medication management and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hospital experience including cardiac and emergency care.
• Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Completed CTAS course or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to medical/surgical/obstetrical and emergency patients.
• Supervise in the Charge Nurse role as scheduled.
