A prominent health service provider in Toronto is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary full-time position specializing in providing collaborative care for clients with behavioral support needs. The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc. Nursing degree, relevant experience in geriatrics, and be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Job Summary:
Baycrest has been appointed as the health service provider accountable for leading the implementation of the Toronto Ontario Health regions’ Behaviour Support Action Plan. A key componentoftheplanisthedeploymentofa BehaviourSupportOutreachTeam(‘BSOT’),consisting of interdisciplinary community outreach clinicians, nurses and personal support workers who have behavioural support expertise. The nurse will travel to various community locations and long-term care (LTC) homes in the Toronto Ontario Health region and work with the inter-professional team to provide collaborative and evidence-based care.*This position will be predominantly working in the east end of the Toronto Ontario Health region.
