Job summary

Island Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care to patients of all ages, ensuring patient and staff safety as a priority. The RN will work under the direction of the Head Nurse and/or physician, utilizing skills from recognized training programs. Qualifications include registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, with a strong emphasis on acute care nursing skills, adaptability in community settings, and the ability to exercise sound judgment in professional nursing care.

Qualifications

• Must possess the skill and demonstrated ability to perform the required duties and maintain acceptable standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of the Head Nurse and/or physician.
• Support patients of all ages with varying needs, from minimal assistance to total personal care.
