A healthcare provider in Ontario seeks an Assault Care and Treatment Registered Nurse to provide ethical, evidence-based care within the Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Program. Candidates must be registered RNs with at least two years of relevant experience. Skills in crisis intervention and cultural competence, especially with First Nations, are required. The position offers a competitive salary of $39.07 – $56.00 and demands adaptability in high-stress situations.
In accordance with the standards of best practice of College of Nurses Ontario and the Mission, Vison, and Values of the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre, the Assault Care and Treatment Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, evidenced based, safe, effective and ethical nursing care to all clients of the Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Program.
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as RN required
Current Basic CPR certificate (BCLS) required.
$39.07 – $56.00; in accordance with ONA Collective Agreement.
