Job summary

AbleLiving Services, part of the Thrive Group, is hiring Registered Nurses for both part-time and full-time roles to join our Binbrook team. We provide care for ventilator-supported clients and individuals with disabilities and seniors. The RN will supervise staff and help maintain operations in the absence of senior personnel.

Starting rate is shown below under the ONA Collective Agreement; referrals and full-time/part-time positions are available. This posting closes as indicated in the notice.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license in good standing.
• Excellent communication with clients and families.
• Experience with people with disabilities and/or seniors is an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Our Binbrook location provides supports for individuals with disabilities, seniors, as well as those with long-term chronic ventilation support needs.

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing health care services relative to the identified needs of the clients which include ventilator-supported clients and individuals with disabilities. The role is also responsible for supervising staff, and exercising judgment in maintaining the operation of the facility in the absence of senior personnel.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse certification with current license in good standing
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and families as required
• Experience working with people with disabilities and/or seniors is an asset
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
• Possess strong leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; experience welcome, but not necessary (necessary education and training as part of the orientation).
• Charge Nurse experience is preferred.
• Leadership experience is preferred.

Job Type:

(1)Full-Time, Permanent, (1) Part-Time, Temporary

Starting Rate:

$39.85- $57.12/hour as per ONA Collective Agreement.
