Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Hinton Healthcare Centre, covering Operating Room, Endoscopy and Specialty Clinics. This temporary part-time role is 0.47 FTE with 7.75-hour shifts and a rotating schedule.

You will apply nursing processes, provide safe, patient- and family-centered care, and advocate for patients while collaborating with the care team. Provisional permits earn $40.76–$55.79/hr; full permits adjust to UNA rates.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with CRNA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
• If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the past five years, completion of CRNA Medication Management (Chapters 1-4).
• NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being. Upon obtaining a full practice permit, the rate of pay will be adjusted to the applicable Registered Nurse rate in accordance with UNA Article 25.02(b)(i) or (ii), as applicable.

Required Qualifications
