Job summary

The Physio Method is a growing multidisciplinary physiotherapy and wellness centre in Ottawa, Ontario, seeking a warm, motivated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join as an independent contractor. This part-time role offers the potential to expand your caseload and transition to full-time as you grow within a team-based clinic.

You will provide individualized massage therapy, assess patients, maintain documentation, and educate on home-care.

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with the CMTO.
• Valid professional liability insurance.
• Evening or weekend availability is an asset.

The Physio Method is seeking a warm, motivated and patient-focused Registered Massage Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary physiotherapy and wellness centre.

We’re building a collaborative environment where health professionals work together to deliver thoughtful, high-quality care. This opportunity is ideal for an RMT who values independence while enjoying the support and referrals of a team-based clinic, with the potential to build a full caseload and transition into a full-time role over time.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, individualized massage therapy treatments
• Assess patients and create appropriate treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate patients and provide home-care recommendations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when beneficial
• Build trusting, long-term therapeutic relationships

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with the CMTO

• Professional, reliable and patient-focused
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interested in collaboration and continued learning
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset, helping our patients feel comfortable and understood throughout their experience

Compensation and Clinic Support

This is an independent-contractor position compensated as a percentage of collected treatment revenue. Depending on treatment length and the agreed compensation structure, earnings are expected to be approximately$80-$95 per treatment hour.
