Job summary

Choice Health Centre in Nova Scotia is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary collaborative care practice. Full Time or Part Time, Permanent positions, with a pay range of $50,000 - $75,000 based on experience and hours.

Shifts: Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, Sat 8am-2pm. You will receive referrals, work one-on-one with clients, and collaborate with chiropractors, physiotherapists, and other practitioners, with full administrative support and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• New graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Graduate of a Massage Therapy diploma program.
• Experience or education in treating clients in an outpatient setting is considered an asset
• An appreciation for a holistic approach to health care that emphasizes a whole-person perspective to care
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with other health care professionals
• A commitment to ongoing professional development

Responsibilities

• Receive referrals for Massage Therapy services from our team of multi-disciplinary professionals
• Perform services under the scope of Massage Therapy
• Work directly with clients in one-on-one sessions to implement Massage Therapy treatment plans with the goal of helping patients Thrive
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals using our innovative holistic collaborative care model
• Maintain client records of sessions and plans and prepare documentation required by insurers and third parties payers
• Participate in staff meetings and clinical rounds
• Participate in community events and outreaches
