Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a Registered Health Care Assistant for overnight weekend care in Victoria. The role covers 24-hour weekend shifts from Saturday 9:00 AM to Sunday 9:00 AM, delivering comprehensive homemaking and personal care in clients' homes.

You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, and document client conditions per care plans while following infection prevention practices. A formal HCA training program and strong caregiving knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
• Strong caregiving principles and customer service mindset.
• Physically assist clients and perform movements as required.
• Reliable transportation or license considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour weekend care from Saturday 9:00 AM to Sunday 9:00 AM.
• Perform homemaking duties: cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household tasks.
• Offer companionship and assist clients with community activities.
• Administer personal care per care plan and demonstrate current competency.
• Observe and document client conditions and report changes to supervisor.
