A healthcare organization in Manitoba is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide evidence-based nutrition care, develop individualized plans, and educate clients. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences, completion of a dietetic internship, and Registered Dietitian designation. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Manitoba. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based nutrition care to support residents, patients, or clients in achieving optimal health and quality of life. This role requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration, and communication skills within an interdisciplinary team environment.
Assess clients’ nutritional needs using clinical and dietary data, health history, and medical conditions.
Develop individualized nutrition care plans and monitor progress toward goals.
Provide education and counseling to clients, families, and caregivers on healthy eating, disease management, and nutrition best practices.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, recreation staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
Support menu planning, recipe analysis, and compliance with dietary standards and provincial regulations.
Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences, audits, and quality-improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all professional, legal, and ethical standards.
Stay current on nutrition research, emerging practices, and relevant legislation.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutritional Sciences, Dietetics, or equivalent from an accredited program.
Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program.
Registered Dietitian (RD) designation and active registration with the College of Dietitians of Manitoba (CDM) required.
Minimum 1–3 years of clinical or community nutrition experience (long-term care, primary care, hospital, or public health setting preferred).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (for regional travel, if applicable).
