A healthcare provider in British Columbia is seeking a Registered Care Aide to deliver resident-centered care. You will assist with daily living activities and perform nursing tasks while working under a multidisciplinary team. In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the Registered Care Aide provides resident care in accordance with resident‑centred care philosophy and established regional and facility policies and procedures. As part of the multidisciplinary team and under the direction of the Manager or designate, the Registered Care Aide performs nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse and respiration in addition to resident care duties relating to activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical and recreational needs. Transports residents and performs clerical duties.
Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00 (rotating)
Dunrovin Park Lodge is a 91‑bed Intermediate Care residential facility with 19 Special Care beds. It provides respite services and an adult day program. The Quesnel and area palliative care’s hospice care beds are also located in this facility, for a total of 117 beds facility wide.
