Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - Western Canada

Reports To: Senior Director of Sales Canada

Work Schedule: Mon – Friday 8am – 5pm (occasional weekend and evening hours as needed)

Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales operations across Western Canada, driving growth in the automotive distribution sector. Overseeing a team of Field Sales Representatives, this role focuses on executing regional strategies, achieving sales targets, and building lasting client relationships. By leveraging trends such as electric vehicle components and digital performance tools, the manager will expand market share, enhance customer success, and maximize revenue.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement sales strategies specific to Western Canada’s market conditions.
  • Set and achieve regional revenue targets while expanding market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for major accounts in the region.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.
  • Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Provide insights to senior leadership for product positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Adjust sales tactics based on evolving market conditions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with marketing, product, and operations teams to align regional initiatives.
  • Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and customer programs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability targets.
Performance & Reporting
  • Track KPIs such as revenue growth, pipeline leads, and customer acquisition.
  • Deliver regular performance reports to executive leadership.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Team Management
  • Lead, coach, and motivate regional sales representatives and managers.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 5–8 years sales leadership experience, with proven experience in B2B sales management, ideally in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Creative problem-solving approach; in-depth knowledge of automotive market trends and digital sales analysis tools; ability to build long-term client relationships and manage extended territories.
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Experience managing multi-province territories within Canada.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems And Microsoft office 365.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work Conditions: Hybrid environment combining remote work with frequent travel across the regional territory (e.g., Western Canada, or Quebec for occasional in‑office meetings at company headquarters).

Physical Demands: Involves extensive driving and travel, which may include long hours on the road; occasional lifting of sales materials or product samples up to 20 pounds; ability to stand or walk during client visits, presentations, or industry events.
